We have dedicated ourselves to teaching and sharing the arts of Japan.

With extensive credentials and backgrounds in martial arts, dance, philosophy and understanding of Japanese history, we seek to act as a bridge between east and west - the ancient and modern.

Shiro Shintaku has been studying and teaching martial arts for over 45 years in Japan and the USA. From his deep background he founded the art of Ten Shin Ichi Ryu martial arts.
